Product Communications Lead Additive Manufacturing Solutions

Description -

Reporting to the Global Head of Print Communications this role leads communications for HPs Additive Manufacturing solutions business. The role serves as the global communications point of contact for 3D printing translating complex technologies industry use cases and innovation milestones into clear credible storytelling that strengthens HPs leadership in additive manufacturing.

The ideal candidate brings strong judgment comfort operating in highly technical and industry-driven environments and the ability to connect business priorities to meaningful external narratives.

Responsibilities

  • Lead global communications for HPs Additive Manufacturing Solutions business serving as the primary point of contact for 3D printing communications and a trusted advisor to business leader
  • Develop and execute proactive and reactive communications strategies that advance HPs position in additive manufacturing spanning product launches customer stories and industry visibility
  • Translate complex technologies and applications into clear compelling narratives across key verticals (e.g. automotive industrial) ensuring alignment with HPs broader innovation and growth priorities
  • Drive communications for major industry moments including trade shows events and ecosystem announcements maximizing visibility and media engagement (e.g. RAPID TCT and similar forums)
  • Shape media and influencer engagement strategy within the additive manufacturing and 3D printing ecosystem including trade media analysts and industry stakeholders
  • Partner cross-functionally with business marketing analyst relations and regional teams to ensure alignment consistency and impact across geographies and audiences
  • Manage agency partners and external vendors ensuring strong execution clear direction and timely delivery of materials for external publication

Experience Recommended

  • 8 years of experience in product corporate or industry communications ideally within technology manufacturing or industrial sectors
  • Demonstrated ability to balance strategic thinking with hands-on execution
  • Strong ability to communicate complex technical concepts in a clear credible and engaging way
  • Demonstrated ability to operate globally and coordinate across regions stakeholders and agencies
  • Strong executive presence sound judgment and ability to navigate ambiguity and evolving priorities
