The Position
As a Power Platform Administrator you will ensure the security scalability and health of our program and be the key technical expert on its technical setup and configuration. You will manage environments implement Data Loss Prevention (DLP) policies and other detailed configuration and oversee governance frameworks to empower citizen developers and application teams across Roche. You will monitor platform capacity and other platform health metrics manage user licensing and perform other administration tasks. As appropriate you will implement automations for administration and provide technical leadership and supervision to others who may also be acting as administrators. By bridging the gap between IT governance and developers you will ensure our organization leverages the full potential of the Power Platform in a secure high-performing and efficient manner.
Your Responsibilities
Scope: Demonstrates deep proficiency in the Power Platforms general configuration primary components and governance frameworks. Oversees the creation configuration and decommissioning of environmentswhile ensuring alignment with organizational security standards. Influences tech choices regarding access control data residency encryption and DLP (Data Loss Prevention) policies.
Accountability/Problem Solving: Contributes to the platform roadmap and technical vision. Defines executes or oversees administrative tasks which support the roadmap. Successfully drives initiatives such as deploying the Center of Excellence (CoE) Starter Kit. Monitors performance metrics and usage data to ensure peek performance and to optimize resource allocation
Stakeholder Management: Possesses a strong grasp of stakeholder ecosystems and their needs. Stakeholders include peers responsible for other aspects of the Microsoft technology stack or specific capabilities. Excels in negotiations and partnerships for mutual benefits. Provides clear direction toward mid- to long-term goals and objectives.
Impact/Strategy: Supports innovative initiatives and continuous improvement across the platform including knowledge-sharing initiatives. Regularly reviews and refines configuration and governance practices to adapt to evolving organizational needs.
Complexity: Operates expansively at the platform level which will be used globally by all areas of the enterprise.
Business/Technical ability: Capable of driving innovative platform administration by analyzing trends in low-code no-code and AI. Actively contributes to the platform roadmap by suggesting and implementing configuration and implementation that makes the platform compelling to our internal customers.
Compliance: Authors and reviews documentation to show that the Power Platform program complies with enterprise process directives security requirements and regulations such as GxP and GDPR.
Who You Are
Proven experience as a Power Platform administrator in a large regulated organization.
Ideally experience with application development on the Power Platform or other Microsoft technologies.
Bachelors degree in Engineering Computer Science or equivalent experience.
In-depth knowledge of the full Microsoft Power Platform demonstrated through Microsoft certifications
Hands-on experience with the Power Platform Center of Excellence (CoE) including installation configuration and customization of the CoE Starter Kit.
Ability to analyze performance metrics and usage data to identify trends and optimize resource allocation.
Strong troubleshooting skills to address platform-wide issues and maintain a stable reliable service.
Understanding of governance policies security protocols (encryption access controls) and the Power Platform Admin Center.
Track record of implementing and monitoring security measures and regulatory compliance standards within a cloud-based environment.
Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to manage multiple initiatives in a dynamic environment.
Strong coaching and leadership skills with a track record of effectively communicating technical decisions and transferring platform-specific knowledge to team members.
Excellent negotiation skills and a strong grasp of complex stakeholder ecosystems.
