Job description

The Leadership and Service(s) for the Generation of Social Value research team at Deusto Business School invites applications for a Postdoctoral Researcher position in Organizational Behavior (Advanced Quantitative Methods).

We are seeking a highly motivated scholar with strong expertise in advanced quantitative methods to join our dynamic and collaborative research environment and contribute to our research on leadership services and social value generation.

Position Overview

The successful candidate will contribute to cutting-edge research on organizational behavior diversity and career development across the lifespan exploring how individuals and groups evolve within organizations over time. Research will emphasize rigorous empirical analysis using complex datasets to address questions related to age diversity inclusion career trajectories and workforce dynamics.

We offer

  • Duration. 1 year renewable for up to 2 years.
  • Annual salary and terms of payment. 36196.80 gross per year payable in 15 monthly addition the position includes substantial research support covering data collection conference participation research visits open-access publication costs and other resources necessary to facilitate the successful development of the postdoctoral research project.
  • Contract type: The successful candidate will be appointed under the category of Associate Researcher (Investigador/a Asociado/a) according to the University of Deusto regulations.
  • Location: Bilbao
  • Expected start date: October 2026

Requirements

Required Qualifications

  • PhD in Organizational Behavior Management Psychology Economics Sociology or a related field (completed by the start date of the appointment)
  • Demonstrated expertise in advanced statistical techniques such as:
    • Multilevel modeling (HLM mixed-effects models)
    • Longitudinal and panel data analysis
    • Structural equation modeling (SEM)
    • Causal inference methods (e.g. fixed effects IV DiD)
    • Advanced regression techniques
  • Strong programming and analytical skills (R Stata Python Mplus or similar)
  • Evidence of research productivity or strong pipeline
