Job Summary

Location: Barcelona - Spain (3 days working from the office and 2 days working from home)

Role Purpose

The Patient Services Disease Group Director will shape and steer the strategic vision design and execution of Patient Services across multiple therapeutic areas and products. The role ensures a harmonized highquality patient experience across the full patient journey from diagnosis to longterm management while driving operational excellence innovation and compliance globally and locally.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the strategic direction and operating model for Patient Services across several therapeutic areas and products ensuring scalability excellence and continuous improvement.

  • Oversee the design and execution of endtoend patient services ensuring alignment with patient needs regulatory expectations and business priorities.

  • Partner closely with global functions including Marketing Patient Advocacy Medical Access and crossfunctional operations to ensure integration of strategies.

  • Collaborate with country PSP Leads Medical Affairs and Commercial teams to secure effective and compliant implementation of international strategies.

  • Drive launch readiness and lifecycle support across therapeutic areas by embedding bestinclass patient service models.

  • Identify insights gaps and opportunities for innovation to elevate patient experience and optimize operational performance.

  • Ensure strong governance compliance and integrity across all patientfacing activities.

Accountability KPIs & Performance Management

  • Establish clear KPIs across therapeutic areas and countries to measure effectiveness quality and impact of Patient Services.

  • Ensure accountability for country performance through performance dashboards and structured followup.

  • Drive harmonization of Patient Service Programs across EUCAN International & Japan.

  • Lead continuous review cycles to monitor program health identify gaps and implement corrective actions.

Profile & Experience

  • 12-15 years of experience in biopharma patient services PSPs or related strategic roles.

  • Bachelors degree in a relevant scientific healthcare or lifesciences field.

  • Advanced degree strongly preferred.

  • Demonstrated ability to operate strategically while guiding crossfunctional and multiregional execution.

  • Strong experience collaborating with global functions and country teams.

  • Proven capability to coach mentor and develop junior team members.

  • Exceptional communication stakeholder management and leadership skills.

  • Fluency in English required; additional languages are an asset.
