This is a high-impact leadership role for someone who thrives in a fast-paced regulated environment and is passionate about delivering exceptional service to customers across Direct-to-Patient (DtP) Cell & Gene Therapy commercial pharma and clinical trials.

What youll do

As Operations Manager you will play a key role in ensuring our operations run efficiently compliantly and in line with business objectives. You will work closely with the General Manager and wider leadership team to support operational delivery budget management team development and customer satisfaction.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain a strong understanding of the current regulatory landscape across all service areas includingDtP Cell & Gene Therapy commercial pharma and clinical pharma

• Partner with theGeneral ManagerandAdministration Managerto develop the annual budget and manage direct and indirect costs in line with approved targets

• Lead coach and motivateOperations Controllersand wider associates to achieve business goals and high performance standards

• Review refine and evolve departmental responsibilities to meet the changing needs of customers and the global network

• Support theGeneral Managerwith operational and strategic priorities as required

• RepresentWorld Courierexternally with relevant trade groups such as theFreight Transport Association

• Take ownership of local staffing including recruitment and headcount management

• Support HR-related activities including policy development and people processes

• Contribute to employee financial review processes and annual bonus distribution

• Travel regularly across Iberia and global locations as part of the role

• Support additional business priorities as required by the General Manager

Essential skills and experience

• Minimum10 years of industry experience including operational client-facing and commercial roles

• Proven ability to perform all aspects of anOperations Managementrole to a consistently high standard

• Experience taking ownership of projects and driving them through to completion

• Strong ability to provide relevant business and operational information when required

• Demonstrated success in resolving internal and external customer issues quickly and creatively

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

• Excellent communication skills in English and Spanish bothwritten and verbal

• Ability to delegate effectively and provide clear direction

• A collaborative approach with the ability to share knowledge and develop others

• Full driving licence
