Network Engineer

Key responsabilities:

1. Network Administration & Operations:

• Design configure maintain and upgrade network infrastructure (LAN WAN VPN firewalls switches routers).

• Implement network segmentation VLANs and routing protocols for optimal performance.

• Monitor network health set up alerts and proactively troubleshoot latency or connectivity issues.

• Ensure high availability and redundancy through proper failover and disaster recovery strategies.

• Maintain accurate network diagrams and documentation for compliance and operational efficiency.
  

2. Vulnerability Management:

• Identify and assess network-related security vulnerabilities using industry-standard tools.

• Prioritize remediation efforts apply patches and validate fixes to maintain compliance with security policies.

• Collaborate with security teams to enforce network hardening and access control measures.
  

3. Support:

• Provide Level 2/3 support for complex network issues and escalations.

• Take ownership of critical incidents ensuring timely resolution and root cause analysis. Maintain detailed troubleshooting guides and knowledge base for network operations.
  

4. Project & Continuous Improvement:

• Lead or contribute to network infrastructure projects including upgrades and new deployments.

• Perform testing and validation for new network implementations to ensure stability and compliance.

• Drive automation and optimization initiatives to improve network efficiency and reduce downtime.

You need to succeed:

• 35 years of experience managing Global Network Services including LAN/WAN/WiFi environments. Bachelors degree in Computer Science

• Strong technical background in global network services network automation and securitydriven projects (e.g. LAN/WAN segmentation).

• Proactive flexible reliable and solutionoriented mindset.

• Strong analytical abilities and effective communication skills.

• Teamoriented with the ability to work independently when needed.

• Fluent in English
