We are currently looking for a Mechanical Senior Specialist to join an international power generation project supporting the development and execution of large-scale industrial facilities.

The position is aimed at professionals with extensive experience in rotating equipment engineering for Power Plant projects including equipment specification technical evaluation vendor coordination package engineering and follow-up of critical machinery throughout engineering procurement and construction phases.

Hybrid work model 2 days remote per week

Responsibilities:

Perform specification selection and technical follow-up of rotating equipment for Power Plant projects.
Provide technical support during the bidding phase and review technical tender documentation.
Prepare technical requisition documentation including supply specifications and mechanical data sheets.
Review and technically evaluate vendor quotations machinery proposals and equipment offers. Support technical negotiations with vendors and suppliers and participate in technical clarification activities.
Follow up engineering activities after purchase order award and coordinate technical interfaces with manufacturers and package suppliers.
Review vendor documentation drawings and technical deliverables ensuring compliance with project requirements and applicable standards.
Participate in multidisciplinary engineering reviews and support coordination with other engineering disciplines.
Support procurement inspection testing construction and commissioning activities related to rotating equipment packages.
Contribute to the development of engineering know-how standards and best practices within the rotating equipment discipline.

Requirements:

Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
Extensive experience in rotating equipment engineering for Power Plant projects.
Strong knowledge of Steam Turbines Gas Turbines Generators Pumps Compressors and HRSG systems.
Experience preparing technical specifications mechanical data sheets and requisition packages.
Experience reviewing and evaluating vendor proposals and technical bids.
Experience coordinating with procurement construction and multidisciplinary engineering teams.
Knowledge of international codes and standards such as ASME API ISO and ASTM.
English level B2 or higher.

Desirable requirements:

Experience in international EPC projects within the Power Generation sector.
Experience supporting inspection testing and commissioning activities.
Experience coordinating directly with equipment manufacturers and package vendors.
Experience participating in technical bid evaluations and vendor negotiations.
Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively in multidisciplinary and multicultural environments.
