Job Summary

TheHubProcurement Leadisaccountable for all supply chain activities as it pertains to their respectiveregion;primarily in the form of operational executionin support ofDivisionrevenue and customer delivery.

The overall focus of the role is to ensure thatpurchase demand for both Direct & Indirect scopes of supplyisexecuted effectively per the requirements of theregion.

The role will have directresponsibility for a team of Procurement Specialists to transactProcure-to-Pay activities for the namedregionand shall leverage other functions such as Sourcing to ensure all deliverables are met on time to the right quality and to competitive market level pricing.

SCOPE OF RESPONSIBILITY

  • Lead and manage the supply chain functionwithin their assignedscopewithfocuson supportingoperations.

  • Ensure that all the sourcing and procurement activities in support of the daily operations are fulfilled on time anddeliverythe correct balance of Quality Delivery & Cost asdeterminedby thebusinessgoals.

  • Ensure that the ERPsystemis up to date with all relevant supply chain data andparameters;including item master data supplier masterdataand Purchase Order documents.

  • Develop and deliver theinputsforthe AOP andSTRAP;with focusaroundspendand savings.

  • Identification of opportunities to increasespendunder contract and rationalize the supply base and thencollaborate with theappropriate Sourcing/Categoryteams to deliver the benefit.

  • Identifyany specific supply/supplier risks as it pertains to the managed scope and elevate them through theappropriate process/hierarchy.

  • Supportthe communicationand negotiationwith suppliers foranyclaims associatedtowarrantyliquidateddamagesetc.

  • Ensure full complianceofthe supply chain activities in alignment with external regulatory requirements.

  • Facilitation of the Flowserve Management System as it pertains to the role and managed teams.

  • Operate in full compliancetoall Flowserve Policies & Procedures as applicable to the role.

PEFERREDCOMPETENCIES AND SKILLS

  • 7years of experience in Supply Chain

  • Strong interpersonal relationship management

  • Evidenced understanding of both commercial and technical areas of supply chain

  • Verystrongcommercial acumen and negotiation skills

  • Proficiency in Project Management

  • Knowledge of supply basewithin the BU areaof operation (products/marketsetc)

  • Understanding of market dynamics

  • Strong analytical skills whichinvolvescollectinganalyzingand interpreting data

  • Certified Supply Chain Professional

  • Geographically mobile for development opportunities

  • Ability to influence communicate and collaborate at all organizational levels

  • Strong leadershipcollaborationand communication skills

  • Knowledge ofERP Systems such as SAPOracleand/or Great Plains

  • Sound understandingonthe sourcing needs of the regional / global sites
