At Alcoa you will become part of a company that is transforming the future of the aluminum industry through innovation sustainability and operational excellence. We are seeking an experienced Maintenance Senior Manager Alumina Plant to join our leadership team in San Ciprián Spain.

In this role you will be a key member of the site management team leading maintenance and reliability strategies that ensure safe efficient and reliable operations while supporting the sites long-term business objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Serve as a member of the location leadership team promoting a strong safety culture and effective collaboration across all operational areas.
  • Develop and execute maintenance and reliability strategies aligned with site and business objectives.
  • Lead coach and develop a large maintenance organization fostering accountability engagement and continuous improvement.
  • Own and manage departmental budgets ensuring effective resource allocation and cost control.
  • Establish strategic goals and operational plans monitor performance and drive corrective actions when necessary.
  • Improve equipment reliability asset performance and operational effectiveness through best-in-class maintenance practices.
  • Build strong partnerships with internal stakeholders and understand customer requirements to support business success.
  • Champion continuous improvement initiatives to enhance safety productivity reliability and operational excellence.

What We Are Looking For:

  • Bachelors or masters degree in engineering or a related technical discipline.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience leading maintenance operations and managing large teams within heavy industrial or manufacturing environments.
  • Strong experience in maintenance management reliability engineering asset performance and continuous improvement methodologies.
  • Proven leadership capability with the ability to influence engage and develop teams.
  • Experience managing budgets and delivering operational results.
  • Strong problem-solving planning and decision-making skills.
  • Good command of English both written and spoken.
