Overview

The Country Site Activation Intern will support clinical trial start-up activities by assisting with regulatory contractual and document management processes. This role offers valuable exposure to the clinical research environment and site activation lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the preparation and processing of contract addendums.
• Assist with regulatory submissions to relevant authorities and ethics committees.
• Prepare and track regulatory notifications.
• Support implementation and tracking of regulatory submissions and approvals.
• Conduct Trial Master File (TMF) reviews to ensure completeness and compliance.
• Maintain and update clinical trial systems and databases.
• Assist with administrative and operational site activation activities as required.

Qualifications

• Bachelors or higher-level degree preferable in life science.
• Equivalent combination of education training and experience.
• Computer skills including working knowledge of Microsoft Word Excel and PowerPoint.
• Written and verbal communication skills - must be fluent in both English and Spanish.
• Effective time management and organizational skills.
• Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with coworkers managers and clients.
• Awareness of applicable clinical research regulatory requirements i.e. Good Clinical Practice (GCP) and International Conference on Harmonization (ICH) guidelines as provided in company training.
• Knowledge of applicable protocol requirements as provided in company training.
