The Opportunity

We are offering an internship in the Infrastructure team supporting some of the largest pharmaceutical manufacturers in Europe. As an intern you will assist in ensuring the administration and reliability of systems that support production processesfrom core IT services to industrial infrastructure. You will be part of a team responsible for maintaining the systems that are critical for manufacturing continuity.

Key Responsibilities

• Gain hands-on experience with virtual environment administration: assist in deployment configuration and maintenance of VMware ESXi / vSphere infrastructures
• Learn Microsoft Active Directory services: support the administration of AD-DS AD-CS DNS DHCP and Group Policy Objects (GPOs) under supervision
• Assist in Windows Server administration: help manage and support Microsoft Windows Server environments in production systems
• Support remote access infrastructure: gain experience with Terminal Server / RDS RD-GW and VDI technologies
• Help with backup platform operations: assist in managing and monitoring backup systems (e.g. ArcServe Veeam) and recovery procedures
• Learn storage infrastructure fundamentals: understand hyperconverged systems and assist with basic administration tasks
• Develop network infrastructure knowledge: gain understanding of switching and firewall technologies and assist with simple configuration tasks
• Understand client needs: work with internal teams to assess infrastructure requirements and contribute to optimization discussions
• Learn and contribute to continuous improvement: understand infrastructure best practices stay updated on emerging technologies and assist in developing scalable solutions
• Collaborate across teams: work with senior infrastructure professionals and technology partners to deliver reliable infrastructure support

Qualifications

• Bachelors degree or ongoing studies in Computer Science Information Systems or related fields. (Ideally someone in the final year of studies)
• Basic knowledge of Windows Server virtualization concepts and networking fundamentals
• Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasks
• Good interpersonal and teamwork skills
• B2 English or above (spoken and written)
