We are seeking a highly organized and proactive HR generalist to join our team on a fixed-term maternity cover contract.
Description
Collaborate with the HR Business Partner (HRBP) to support programs related to employee development engagement and retention.
Partner with Group Leaders and Office Leadership to provide updates discuss workforce priorities and align people strategies with business needs.
Participate in and present at staff and leadership meetings as required.
Serve as a point of contact for employees by providing guidance on HR practices policies and systems.
Collaborate with Centers of Expertise (COEs) to deliver aligned support across talent acquisition mobility total rewards and learning & development.
Partner with the Talent Acquisition team to ensure recruitment strategies align with business needs; assess effectiveness of recruitment activities and participate in interviews as required.
Use a consultative approach to advise and coach managers on employee relations performance management HR systems implementation and company policies.
Support HR Manager and HRBP in Works Council relationships including participation in negotiations.
Assist in managing complex employee relations matters and support internal investigations as required.
Support payroll processing in collaboration with third-party providers to ensure timely and compliant delivery.
Maintain and update employee data in HR systems (e.g. HRIS absence tracking payroll benefits) and provide user guidance as needed.
Coordinate onboarding programs for new employees in collaboration with cross-functional teams.
Stay informed on HR trends regulatory developments and best practices in human resources and employment law.
Conduct exit interviews and provide feedback to relevant stakeholders.
Minimum Qualifications
23 years of experience in HR administration HR generalist or a related role.
University degree in Human Resources Business Administration Psychology or a related discipline.
Experience working with HR systems (e.g. HRIS payroll absence tracking or benefits administration tools).
Very good command of English spoken and written
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word Excel PowerPoint).
Strong organizational time management and attention-to-detail skills.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to engage across all levels of the organization.
Demonstrated problem-solving and customer service skills.
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Team-oriented mindset with a proactive approach to work.
