Job Summary

We are looking for a H&S Technician to join our QHSE team.

The successful candidate will support the implementation monitoring and continuous improvement of the companys Health & Safety Management System across our industrial and manufacturing activities.

Key responsibilities will include:

 

  • Supporting the implementation of occupational health and safety policies and procedures in accordance with Spanish legislation and company standards.

 

  • Carrying out workplace risk assessments and supporting the definition and follow-up of preventive and corrective actions.

 

  • Conducting regular safety inspections and participating in internal audits.

 

  • Supporting incident and near-miss investigations identifying root causes and proposing preventive actions.

 

  • Delivering and coordinating H&S training and awareness activities for employees.

 

  • Monitoring the use of PPE and compliance with safety procedures.

 

  • Collaborating with production engineering and other departments to promote a strong safety culture.

 

  • Supporting the coordination and follow-up of external prevention services and other H&S-related suppliers.

 

  • Maintaining H&S documentation records indicators and reports.

 

  • Participating in continuous improvement initiatives within the QHSE department.


Qualifications :

  • Official Intermediate Level Qualification in Occupational Risk Prevention in accordance with Spanish legislation.

  • 12 years of professional experience in Health & Safety preferably in an industrial manufacturing or engineering environment.

  • Good understanding of Spanish occupational health and safety legislation and basic risk assessment methodologies.

  • Ability to work autonomously on the shop floor while effectively collaborating with different departments and external stakeholders.

  • Proactive practical and hands-on approach with good communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Good analytical and problem-solving abilities.

  • English level: minimum B2 both written and spoken.
