THE JOB

We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented HR Generalist to join our People Experience team in Barcelona and help us continue building a great employee experience.

In this role you will take ownership of core HR processes such as employment documentation payroll coordination and day-to-day employee support ensuring everything runs smoothly accurately and in line with company values and local regulations.

You will also be involved in end-to-end recruitment for Spain as part of our wider Talent Acquisition team supporting business growth through thoughtful hiring processes and contributing to employer branding and talent attraction initiatives.

A solid understanding of Spanish employment legislation is important to ensure compliant HR operations. Please note that this role does not involve providing legal advice.

You will work closely with the HR Manager and play a key role in strengthening HR delivery and enhancing the overall employee experience in Spain.

YOUR MISSIONS

Ensure the accurate and timely execution of HR processes across the employee lifecycle including onboarding changes and offboarding.

Prepare employment documentation such as contracts amendments and certificates in line with Spanish employment regulations and internal policies.

Act as a first point of contact for employees on HR processes policies and day-to-day queries.

Collect validate and prepare monthly payroll inputs (salary changes bonuses and other variable payments) for processing via PayFit.

Support end-to-end recruitment processes for roles in Spain partnering with the Talent Acquisition team.

Contribute to employer branding and talent attraction initiatives to strengthen FCTG Spains presence in the market.

Support internal mobility and career development initiatives together with the People Experience team.

Take part in HR projects and continuous improvement initiatives to enhance processes tools and the overall employee experience.

Our Ideal Candidate

A degree in Human Resources Psychology Business Administration or a related field.

3 years of experience in a hands-on HR Generalist or similar role ideally in Spain or an international environment.

Experience across the full employee lifecycle including onboarding HR administration payroll coordination and employee support.

Comfortable working with HR systems (HRIS/ATS) and digital tools.

A people-first mindset with empathy good judgment and a strong focus on employee experience.

Pragmatic proactive and comfortable working in an international environment.

Advanced Spanish and English level
