Job Summary
Description -
HP is looking for a recent graduate to join theTrust and Privacy Organization within the Legalfunction. This role will supportHPs Business Units and Global Functions ona broad range ofprivacy and data protection matters offering a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a global fast-paced environment.
Key responsibilities:
Provide privacy legalandadvisory support to HP Business Units and Global Functions on a wide range of data protection topics.
Support the interpretation and application of global privacy laws and regulations helping stakeholders understand their practical implications.
Contribute to privacy risk assessments including reviewing data flowsidentifyingrisks and supporting mitigation strategies.
Assistin responding to regulatory audit and compliance activities where privacy expertise is.
Support documentation tasks including preparing andmaintainingrecords related to interactions with supervisory authorities.
Contribute to the development and continuous improvement of privacy governance frameworks templates and processes.
Monitor and stay up to date on evolving privacylaws regulatory guidance and enforcement trends and assess their potential impact on HP.
Requirements
Bachelors or Masters degree in Law(LL.B. or equivalent); a specialization in privacy or data protection is a plus obtained within thelast12months.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Fluent in English.
Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
Interestin privacy data protection and technology.
