We are currently looking for a German Speaking Business Development Representative to join the Google Products team in Barcelona. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic international environment helping businesses identify growth opportunities through digital solutions while developing your career with one of the worlds leading technology brands.
As a Business Development Representative you will be responsible for identifying new sales opportunities understanding customer needs and connecting businesses with the right Google solutions. You will proactively engage with prospective clients across the EMEA market and play a key role in driving business growth.
Key Responsibilities
Identify and qualify new business opportunities through outbound prospecting activities.
Manage a portfolio of assigned accounts and identify high-potential prospects.
Execute outbound calls and email campaigns including cold calling activities.
Build relationships with decision-makers and assess customer business needs.
Educate customers on available Google solutions and services.
Understand customer challenges and align business needs with appropriate cloud-based solutions.
Maintain accurate records of customer interactions opportunities and activities within Salesforce CRM.
Achieve individual and team targets related to productivity conversion rates pipeline generation and Sales Qualified Opportunities (SQOs).
Collaborate with internal teams to ensure a seamless customer experience.
Requirements
BA/BS degree or equivalent practical experience.
Native or near-native level of German.
Fluent English communication skills both written and spoken.
Previous experience in outbound sales B2B sales or business development.
Strong business acumen with the ability to identify customer needs and propose suitable solutions.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Comfortable working in a target-driven phone-based sales environment.
Good IT and computer skills.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in the IT industry or cloud technology sales.
Knowledge of cloud computing concepts particularly Google Cloud Platform solutions.
Experience managing large account portfolios.
Familiarity with Salesforce or other CRM platforms.
Ability to engage with C-level stakeholders and decision-makers.
Strong negotiation and relationship-building skills.
Goal-oriented proactive and self-motivated mindset.
Compensation & Benefits
Competitive salary: 25440 gross/year
Performance bonus: up to 6360 gross/year
