At Glovo we are currently refining the staffing architecture for our global fleet of riders. As a key strategic and analytical lead in this initiative you will drive this evolution by designing coordinating and implementing innovative tools and processes. You will scale new staffing frameworks that impact rider satisfaction our primary operational investment and the companys most significant cost center ensuring our logistics network remains fair and efficient across all this role you will act as the lead Point of Contact (PoC) for the Forecasting teams across all three regions offering the guidance and assistance required for effective process implementation. You will also oversee and be supported by an intern and a junior analyst.

 

BE A PART OF A TEAM WHERE YOU WILL:

  • Serve as the primary liaison with Delivery Hero (DH) for all forecasting this capacity you will function as the Business Process Manager (BPM) managing feature requests troubleshooting bugs and handling escalations.

  • Act as the main point of contact for regional forecasters under a dotted-line management structure. You will ensure they have functional tools AI-driven alerts and the necessary operational support while also supervising an intern or junior analyst.

  • Collaborate with Local Heads of Operations to guide forecast discussions address challenges and provide clear timely solutions to their operational issues.

  • Oversee the continuous improvement maintenance and periodic redesign of forecasting processes and analytical dashboards.

  • Monitor and evaluate primary forecasting KPIs implementing data-driven strategy adjustments and model updates as required.

  • Adopt a rider-centric perspective to better understand and resolve local or regional logistics needs.

  • Integrate AI into existing workflows and develop predictive models that generate actionable business insights.


Qualifications :

YOU HAVE

  • Degree in Engineering Maths Business Administration or another STEM field.

  • 3 years of experience in a data analytics role where you translated insights into tangible business actions and measured their impact.

  • Foundational technical proficiency

    • Familiar with of SQL for data extraction querying and reporting

    • Familiarity with Python (or R) for basic data manipulation and analysis using standard libraries (e.g. pandas).

    • Exposure to data visualization tools such as Looker Tableau or PowerBI to update maintain and build standard dashboards.

  • Great problem-solving and analytical skills. You are comfortable breaking down ambiguous complex problems into manageable steps and driving towards a clear solution.

  • Comfortable working in a high-growth and high-performance environment dealing with ambiguity while maintaining a positive mindset.

  • You can clearly and concisely explain complex analytical findings to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Fluent English is a must.

  • You are organized take ownership of your work and thrive in a fast-paced high-growth environment.

  • Nice to have: Experience as BPM (Business Process Manager)
