Design and Construction Manager, Construction Project team

Join our dynamic Design and Construction Execution team and become a pivotal part of Amazons infrastructure expansion across Europe. Youll play a critical role in transforming project concepts into reality supporting the development of delivery stations and fulfillment centers that power our global logistics network.


Would you like an opportunity to travel and work in multiple EU countries and cultures The role could be based in Madrid Barcelona Milan or Paris with 50% of time traveling either domestically within the country or to other EMEA countries.


Key job responsibilities
Support end-to-end project delivery from initial concept through final construction
Assist in preparing comprehensive project budgets and detailed schedules
Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams and external stakeholders
Maintain meticulous project documentation and tracking systems
Apply best practices in pre-construction and construction processes

Your day will be a blend of strategic planning and hands-on project coordination. You might start by reviewing permit applications then transition to construction site visits engaging with contractors and tracking project milestones. - Speak write and read fluently in English
- Bachelors degree in Electrical Mechanical Structural Civil Engineering or Architecture or Country equivalent
- Experience in construction management
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
- Analytical and organizational capabilities
- Effective communication skills

- Knowledge of project management tools
- Experience in construction or design
- Knowledge of building codes and regulations
- Experience with documentation systems
- Experiencein managing cool chainsrefrigeration equipmentand installationstemperature-controlledenvironmentsareconsidered a strong plus
- French German Polish Arabic Portuguese Turkish Chinese (Mandarin) Afrikaans and Zulu are considered preferred qualifications.
