Delivery Director Technology
Job Summary
Were looking for a Delivery Director Technology to join our team in Barcelona in a hybrid working mode. You will lead a large-scale engagement spanning over several business domains for a large multi-national client ensuring successful delivery of complex programs exceeding 100 FTE.
This role involves full accountability for end-to-end delivery client relationships and commercial performance while supporting account growth through pre-sales and strategic engagement. You will need sufficient technical depth to challenge architecture diagnose delivery issues and engage credibly with senior engineering stakeholders. Hands-on practice of AI and a solid understanding of how to use it effectively in software development and maintenance are required.
- Drive full lifecycle program delivery ensuring high-quality outcomes aligned with EPAM processes
- Act as the primary point of contact for executive-level client engagement and stakeholder governance
- Diagnose and resolve delivery challenges addressing risks tied to architecture integration and design
- Ensure compliance with financial targets sourcing strategies and regulatory obligations
- Lead multiple delivery streams coordinating nearshore and offshore teams across SDLC and IT service management
- Collaborate with delivery leads architects engineers and product teams to define estimates plans and roadmaps
- Support sales and pre-sales efforts contributing to proposal development and client presentations
- Embed AI tools and practices into delivery models leveraging automation for improved efficiency
- Maintain a continuous improvement culture balancing cost quality and time-to-market across engagements
- Proven track record delivering large-scale technology engagements (100 FTE) across diverse domains
- Strong experience in client relationship management and risk governance at senior stakeholder levels
- Hands-on exposure to SDLC and Agile delivery models combined with practical knowledge of T&M FP and hybrid engagement models
- Ability to diagnose architectural issues evaluate trade-offs and improve technical designs
- Deep understanding of distributed architectures including microservices APIs headless and event-driven systems
- Hands-on experience applying AI/GenAI to software engineering practices optimizing delivery approaches
- Knowledge of machine learning large language models and AI development lifecycles with consideration for data governance security and compliance
- Awareness of ethical and regulatory implications of AI/GenAI adoption
- Experience overseeing programs involving data platforms analytics or AI/GenAI components
- Past experience working in regulated industries or global-scale transformation projects
- Involvement in initiatives delivering cloud-native solutions or advanced integration frameworks
- Familiarity with AI toolchains prompt engineering and next-generation SDLC automation technologies
