Cybersecurity Engineer Intern (fmd)

What you will do:

• Monitor networks systems and applications for security breaches or intrusions using dedicated security tools and platforms

• Support the detection analysis and response to security incidents including post-incident investigations and reporting

• Conduct preliminary analysis of security alerts and help assess their potential impact on the organization

• Assist in identifying tracking and remediating vulnerabilities across our infrastructure

• Help deploy configure and maintain security tools such as firewalls SIEM IDS/IPS EDR threat intelligence and phishing simulation/awareness solutions from the Azure security stack

• Maintain clear documentation of security incidents procedures and processes and collaborate with IT and other teams to ensure compliance with security policies

What you bring & who you are:

• Bachelors degree in computer science information technology cybersecurity or a related field or equivalent practical experience

• A basic understanding of cybersecurity concepts networking firewalls and security protocols

• Familiarity with incident response processes common operating systems (Windows Linux) and cloud environments

• Strong communicator and team-oriented mindset with eagerness to learn and adapt to new challenges

• Good knowledge of English with a desire to improve it German or Spanish is a plus

• Ideally you have scripting skills (e.g. Python Bash) or knowledge of cloud security principles (Azure AWS GCP) even if you dont meet every point we look forward to your application
