Store Construction and Maintenance Manager

WHAT YOULL DO:

STORE CONSTRUCTION FUNCTIONS

Fully liaise with the corporate design/construction department for consistent store implementation throughout Europe.

Review architectural mechanical electrical and plumbing plans for accuracy and completeness.

Periodic site visits to new stores under development/construction or maintenance issues.

Manage the construction process including vendor purchase orders and management.

Establish construction budgets

Generate construction timelines and schedules

Coordinate bids qualify new contractors and contract review

Plan review and value engineer construction details when requested

Review andanalysebid proposals contracts invoices & change orders

Ensure construction projects are completed within budget and on schedule including all documentation to submit for approval

Update and final completion of Budget to Actual Sheet within 30 days of opening for discussion with Corporate

Source new contractors

Manage store construction process and turnover of store to retail operations team

Prepare and maintain project folders and files

Prepare purchase orders including all change orders for vendors and contractors and update the Budget vs Actual in US $$ each PO or invoice to maintain current cost of projects

Visit sites as dictated by the construction process

Prepare punch lists at site visits for vendors and contractors and complete follow through within 30 days of opening

Assist in the collection of tenant improvement allowances from landlord

Collect and prepare final close-out documents from contractors vendors as required by landlord

STORE MAINTENANCE FUNCTIONS

Maintain andorganisevarious service vendors programs and supplies

Responsible for establishing and maintaining official documents and records in appropriate files

regarding store maintenance.

Direct service calls regarding store issues which may be resolved or referred to proper person for

resolution.

Perform such other duties as may be assigned.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITY

Responsible for Facilities and Safety Co-ordinator

Bachelors degree in Construction Management Architecture Engineering or related field

Demonstrable experiencein retail construction and facilities management(retail background is required).

Demonstrable project management experience.

Strong understanding of construction processes budgeting and project management best practices

Highly collaborativemindsetand abilitytocooperate to ensure the smooth running of the department and the businessat all levels internally and externally.

Flexibilityand abilityto take on new challenges.
