The Role
We are seeking an experienced Commercial / Bid Manager to lead the commercial and tendering activities for our construction projects. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing competitive tenders managing cost estimates supporting subcontractor procurement and ensuring commercial risks and opportunities are effectively identified and managed.
Key Responsibilities
Lead the preparation submission and management of tenders bids and commercial proposals.
Review tender documentation technical specifications and client requirements.
Develop accurate project cost estimates budgets and pricing strategies.
Source evaluate and negotiate with subcontractors suppliers and vendors.
Collaborate with Project Managers Design Teams and Procurement teams to develop competitive and compliant proposals.
Support contract reviews and commercial negotiations with clients and subcontractors.
Monitor market trends supply chain conditions and construction cost movements.
Assist project delivery teams with cost control change management and commercial reporting throughout the project lifecycle.
Requisitos
Proven experience in a Commercial Manager Bid Manager Estimator Quantity Surveyor or similar commercial role within the construction industry.
Degree in Quantity Surveying Construction Management Civil Engineering Business or a related discipline preferred.
Experience preparing tenders and managing procurement activities for large scale construction projects.
Strong understanding of construction contracts cost management budgeting and commercial risk assessment.
Experience managing subcontractor procurement and supplier negotiations.
Strong analytical and financial skills with excellent attention to detail.
Proficiency in Excel and cost estimating software.
Excellent communication negotiation and stakeholder management skills.
Fluent Spanish and professional English.
