Administrative Assistant Claims

Description:

As an Administrative Assistant based in our Barcelona office you will be part of the Claims department that focus on managing and analysing claims on financial lines insurance policies such as D&O E&O and Crime issued to Financial Institutions SME and large companies. You will be key in organizing and supporting the team during the whole process of claims handling

Responsibilities:

  • General administrative duties including:Perform an extensive array of administrative tasks and provide full administrative support for the claims team
  • Monitor and track new notification flow (logging onto system assignation and distribution as well as opening the notifications received)
  • review closure of claims process (close file in the claims system and maintaining a log updated)
  • Review payment process with the claims team and the finance team
  • Administrative preparation of audits in accordance with Checklist: Pulling and putting away files in the archive as instructed.
  • Assistance to Claims Manager with the Claims activity monthly report
  • Occasionally help with reception tasks

Requirements:

  • Fluent in English (written and spoken)
  • Word and Excel (Expert level)
  • Experience in administrative position
