Chemistry Teacher (KS3KS5)

Start Date: September next academic year
Overview
An established and high-performing international school in Marbella is seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and forward-thinking Chemistry Teacher to join its successful Science department. The team is collaborative well-resourced and consistently achieves excellent results at both IGCSE and IBDP.
This is an exciting opportunity for a passionate educator to teach across Key Stages 35 inspiring students to become inquisitive independent learners through engaging theoretical and practical science teaching.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality Chemistry lessons across KS3 IGCSE and IBDP/A Level
- Contribute to the wider teaching of Science at Key Stage 3 and GCSE
- Plan and deliver engaging inquiry-based lessons that support a range of learning needs
- Monitor and assess student progress ensuring all learners are supported to achieve their full potential
- Contribute to the continued development of the Science curriculum and department
- Foster a positive and stimulating learning environment
The Ideal Candidate Will Have
- A recognized teaching qualification (PGCE or equivalent) with QTS in Science
- Experience teaching Chemistry up to A Level and/or IBDP (desirable not essential)
- A minimum of two years teaching experience
- A strong track record of delivering excellent outcomes
- The ability to inspire and motivate students of all abilities
- Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children
