Kings College School Murcia is seeking an enthusiastic committed and well-qualifiedScience Teacherto join our dynamic and successful Science Department fromJanuary 2026.
The successful candidate will be able to teachBiology and Chemistry to A Level inspiring students through engaging challenging and practical science lessons. We are looking for a teacher who is passionate about their subject committed to high academic standards and able to motivate students of different ages and abilities.
- TeachBiology and Chemistry up to and including A Level.
- Plan and deliver engaging challenging and differentiated lessons.
- Inspire students to develop a genuine interest in Science and encourage curiosity and independent thinking.
- Assess monitor and report on student progress effectively.
- Contribute to the continued development of the Science curriculum and department.
- Make effective use of practical experiments and enquiry-based learning.
- Support students in achieving excellent academic outcomes.
- Contribute positively to the wider life of the school and its community.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues across the department and wider school.
- Holds a relevantdegree in Biology Chemistry Science or a related subject.
- Has an appropriate teaching qualification and relevant classroom experience.
- Is confident teachingboth Biology and Chemistry through to A Level.
- Has high expectations of students and is committed to achieving excellent educational outcomes.
- Can create an engaging inclusive and stimulating learning environment.
- Has excellent communication and organisational skills.
- Is enthusiastic flexible and committed to professional development.
- Enjoys working as part of a collaborative and international school community.
Previous experience teaching within theBritish curriculum and/or A Levelwould be highly desirable.
