Position Details

• Position: Disability Support Worker (DDSO1/1Q)
• Employment type: Casual
• Location: Wangaratta VIC
• Availability: Flexible availability to work a variety of shifts including early mornings afternoons evenings weekends and sleepover shifts.

About You

• Provide person-centred support to help customers achieve their goals and maintain their independence.
• Support customers with daily living activities personal care health routines and community access.
• Follow support plans behaviour support strategies and safety procedures.
• Use calm communication and positive approaches when responding to behaviours of concern.
• Work independently and as part of a team.
• Maintain accurate records and communicate effectively with colleagues.
• Be reliable patient and committed to delivering high-quality support.
• Certificate IV in Disability (or equivalence) is highly desirable
• Full VIC Drivers Licence

You must have or be willing to obtain:

• NDIS Worker Screening Clearance
• Working with Children Check
• First Aid and CPR
• Full VIC Drivers licence
• International Police Check if you have lived or worked overseas for more than one (1) year within the last ten years
