The Role & The Team

This is a rare opportunity to establish and lead a newly formed Business Case capability within the EPMOdesigned to uplift how investment decisions are defined assessed and delivered across the enterprise.

Reporting to the Head of EPMO you will build and lead a high-performing team of analysts while setting the frameworks standards and governance that underpin investment decision-making. You will partner closely with executives portfolio leads and key business functions to shape investment logic ensure alignment to strategy and bring clarity to complex high-value decisions.

On any given day you will guide the development of investment-ready business cases provide expert advice on problem framing and options analysis and ensure financial commercial risk and delivery considerations are integrated into every decision. Your influence will extend across Finance Procurement Technology Safety and operational domains positioning you at the centre of enterprise-wide transformation.

The Person

You are a strategic and commercially astute leader who thrives in complex environments and is motivated by building capability and influencing outcomes at an enterprise level. You are equally comfortable setting direction engaging executives and diving into the detail to ensure quality and rigour.

The successful applicant will have:

• Extensive experience leading business case development investment analysis or portfolio governance in complex environments

• Proven ability to build frameworks uplift capability and embed consistent ways of working

• Strong financial and commercial acumen including oversight of modelling and value-for-money assessments

• Experience influencing senior stakeholders and shaping strategic investment decisions

• Demonstrated leadership experience building and developing high-performing teams

• Ability to operate across strategy finance delivery and risk in an integrated way
