ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY

We are looking for aBIM Software Developerto join our team of Digital Transformation in our offices in Bilbao Spain or Bogotá Colombia.

What will you be doing

Youll participate in the development of apps scripts and automated solutions to streamline repetitive processes and add value to BIM projects. Some of the areas of focus include:

BIM process automation
Georeferencing of CAD drawings exported from Revit (retrieving coordinates from DWG files).
Developing routines with Dynamo Python for quality assurance (QA/QC) in BIM models.
Automation of data copying and synchronization between:
Autodesk Construction Cloud (ACC)
SharePoint
Internal servers
Automation of Revit model publishing to ACC (with and without links).

Advanced Revit modeling
Generation of parametric models from data (coordinates).
Automatic creation of documentation (drawings).
Updating models in response to changes without losing previously generated information.
Automatic generation of openings in building elements (walls) based on intersections with mechanical and electrical systems (federated models).
Automation of repetitive drawing generation using templates.

Innovation and New Technologies
Exploration of AI-based solutions applied to BIM and automation.

ABOUT YOU

Do not hesitate to apply if...

• You have a degree in Industrial Engineering Systems Engineering or a related field.
• You have 2 to 3 years of experience with Revit and BIM environments.
• You have knowledge of:
  Python
  Dynamo
  Workato (a plus)
• You consider yourself to have a profile focused on automation efficiency and continuous improvement.
• You have the ability to analyze processes and propose digital solutions.
• You have Experience with systems integration and cloud environments (ACC SharePoint etc.) is a plus.
• You have Ability to work in a team and technical rigor.
• You have advanced English and Spanish skills.
• And above all... a strong desire to learn at an international company like IDOM.
