- Lead NABs Financial Crime detection and operational service capabilities across Transaction Monitoring Sanctions Watchlist Management and CDD.
- Drive data-led decision making through operational analysis optimisation forecasting and performance insights.
- Shape innovative detection strategies that strengthen risk outcomes and protect customers from emerging financial crime threats.

In this role of Associate Director you will join our Detection and Operational Services team thats doubling down on protecting the community and our customers.
Each day youll go above and beyond to:
- Play a leading role in the design optimisation and review of detection scenarios and thematic risk analysis across the Financial Crime Ecosystem.
- Provide leadership on datadriven financial crime analysis including rule performance optimisation and false positive reduction
- Drive delivery of detection uplift initiatives (TM risk assessments scenario development optimisation frameworks)
- Partner with Financial Crime Risk Technology Operations and Change teams to translate risk outcomes into implementable solutions
- Support governance and assurance including:
- Model governance
- Methodology approval
- Documentation uplift
- Regulatorfacing materials
- Deliver clear concise executivelevel insights and reporting for senior leadership and risk committees
Were looking for the best and brightest to deliver the best for our customers. Youll need:
- Extensive experience in financial crime analytics risk or consulting roles within financial services
- Proven delivery of scenario design rules optimisation operational uplift and risk assessments
- Experience supporting or leading system implementations upgrades or capability uplifts
- Handson data analysis experience using SQL R Python Power BI or equivalent
- Strong expertise in Financial Crime analytics operations and risk analysis
- Experience applying advanced analytics data science and statistical techniques to detection challenges
- Ability to translate complex risk and analytical concepts into clear operational technology and executive outcomes
- High standard of written and verbal communication including regulatorready documentation and executive reporting
