A leading global pharmaceutical company dedicated to the development manufacturing and supply of generic medicines. With a strong presence in the European market we bridge the gap between high-quality healthcare solutions and accessibility. We are currently seeking an organized detail-oriented Artwork Coordinator to join our Supply Chain and Operations team in Barcelona.

Job description:

The Artwork Coordinator will act as the key liaison between external B2B clients third-party partners and our internal global production and supply chain teams. You will coordinate the regular development and lifecycle management of pharmaceutical packaging artwork ensuring all components achieve final approval within strict deadlines and regulatory standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Stakeholder Coordination: Act as the primary external face for the Supply and Production departments regarding packaging artwork managing communications between clients studios and technical teams.

  • Artwork Lifecycle Management: Collect verify and provide clear and accurate starting information/technical specifications to all partners for new artwork developments or version changes.

  • Technical Supervision: Coordinate packaging die-cut requests layout technical approvals and source file exchanges between client artwork studios and internal Packaging Development.

  • System & Data Management: Request and assign internal packaging codes within the ERP system maintain updated tracking databases (Artwork Overviews) and ensure all signed files in use are properly archived.

  • Quality & Approval Flow: Follow up on internal proof status until final Quality Assurance (QA) release submit proofs to clients for final sign-off and notify all stakeholders upon completion.

  • KPI & Timeline Control: Track lead times and project incidences during the artwork process to prevent delays generating periodic management reports to evaluate efficiency.

  • Financial & Stock Coordination: Prepare and track cost quotations for clients regarding packaging development/implementation and coordinate stock management of obsolete printed materials during version changes.

Requirements:

Profile & Experience:

  • Proven experience in Customer Service Supply Chain Logistics or Production Management within the pharmaceutical industry.

  • Working knowledge of Pharmaceutical Packaging control regulations and labelling guidelines for European markets.

  • Experience working across multiple time zones and within global multicultural business environments.

  • A general understanding of the development registration manufacturing and supply of generic pharmaceutical products (licensing or contract manufacturing experience is a plus).

Technical Skills:

  • High proficiency in project tracking tools ERP platforms (SAP) and standard communication software.

  • Knowledge of Adobe Illustrator and Adobe InDesign is highly advantageous.

  • Action & Process-Oriented: Strong time management skills with the ability to handle unpredictable fast-paced workloads flexibly.

  • Customer Focus: Excellent communication skills to bridge technical internal teams with commercial external clients.

  • Meticulous Organization: Highly systematic clear with instructions and capable of maintaining flawless data hygiene across extensive databases.
