AI Engineer

• Design build and productionise AI -enabled features and services using large language model RAG prompt engineering and agent frameworks/ orccestasion (such as LangChain LangGraph or Semantic Kernel).
• Take AI solutions beyond prototype owning evaluation testing guardrails observability security and cost managment.
• Rapdly prototype and validate ideas turning concepts into working sofware withing days and proving out how to build the solution properly at scale.
• Direct AI coding assistants and agentic workflows (e.g. GitHub Copilot Claude Code) alongsinde your own hand-on expertise and rigorously review both human-written and AI-genereated code against our architectural development and security standards.
• Drive adoption of AI agent-led delivery across the team coaching others in effective and responsible use of AI tooling so the capability spreads.
• Track AI and agentic technology trends outside the organisation and apply them pragmatically to our products whilst developing deep domain knowledge.

• 5 years of professional experience in software development AI Machine Learning or a related technical field.
• Practical experience building with AI and agentic technologies: LLM RAG prompt engineering and agent frameworks/ orchestation (LangChain LangGraph or Semantic Kernel).
• Hands-on experience using AI coding assistants and agentic development tools (e.g. GitHub Copilot Claude Code Cursor) in a professional delivery setting and the ability to critically review validate and secure the code they produce.
• Hands-on commercial experience in Azure cloud using GitHub and Azure DevOps across all phases of the SDLC and Agile delivery
• Good programming skills in Python.
