The Role

As an Intern within the Insurance Consulting & Technology (Life) team you will work alongside experienced consultants on real client projects from day one. You will gain hands-on experience applying analytical skills interpreting data and contributing to meaningful business decisions.

This role offers a unique opportunity to build both technical actuarial expertise and business understanding in a dynamic international and collaborative environment. You will also benefit from one of the industrys most comprehensive actuarial training and development programs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support consultants on life actuarial projects for leading insurance clients
  • Analyze data and produce insights to support business decision-making
  • Assist in the development and implementation of financial and actuarial models
  • Perform stochastic modelling and risk analysis to assess financial risks and opportunities
  • Contribute to projects related to:
    • Financial risk management
    • Capital optimization
    • Product strategy and distribution
    • Regulatory frameworks (including Solvency II)
  • Support corporate finance initiatives such as mergers & acquisitions restructuring and securitizations
  • Help improve processes and identify efficiencies within project delivery
  • Prepare technical documentation reports and client presentations
  • Support business development activities including proposals and presentations
  • Build strong internal relationships and gradually engage with client stakeholders


Qualifications

Requirements

  • Currently pursuing a degree or masters in Actuarial Science Mathematics Statistics or a related field
  • Resident in Spain
  • Strong proficiency in English (written and spoken)
  • Additional languages (e.g. French Italian Portuguese) are a plus

  • Advanced knowledge of Excel (essential)
  • Knowledge of the following is a plus:
    • VBA / programming
    • Actuarial modelling tools
    • Data analysis tools
    • Databases (e.g. Access)
