We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented General Ledger Supervisor to lead a team of accounting professionals and support the delivery of accurate financial reporting strong internal controls and continuous process improvement.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead coach and develop a team accounting specialists fostering a collaborative and high-performing environment.
• Oversee month-end quarter-end and year-end close activities ensuring timely and accurate completion.
• Review journal entries balance sheet reconciliations and intercompany accounts to ensure compliance with internal controls and US GAAP.
• Perform financial statement reviews balance sheet and P&L fluctuation analysis and support management reporting.
• Partner with cross-functional stakeholders across Finance Sales Purchasing and Operations.
• Monitor and report key performance indicators (KPIs) and drive service excellence.
• Support SOX compliance requirements internal controls and audit activities.
• Manage fixed asset accounting processes.
• Identify and implement process improvements standardization and automation initiatives.
• Contribute to finance transformation projects and other strategic initiatives.

Knowledge Skills and Experience

• 3 years of accounting experience preferably within a multinational or Shared Services Center (SSC) environment.
• Previous people management or supervisory experience.
• A continuous improvement mindset with a passion for developing people and driving efficiencies.
• Fluent in English both written and spoken.
• Strong knowledge of SAP and BW/HANA.
• Advanced Excel skills.
• Experience with financial reporting month-end close account reconciliations and financial analysis.
• SOX compliance and audit experience preferred.
• Strong analytical problem-solving and organizational skills.
• Proactive results-oriented and able to work independently.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Adaptable team player with a continuous improvement mindset.
• Strong accounting and financial reporting knowledge.
