YARD SUPERVISOR Immediate Start

Salary: R10 000 R15 000 Location: Gauteng

A busy industrial yard is seeking a handson technically strong Yard Supervisor with experience in production environments using guillotines bandsaws and similar cutting equipment. You will manage 510 staff enforce discipline and ensure safe efficient workflow.

Responsibilities

• Supervise daily yard operations (loading offloading sorting cutting).
• Enforce discipline punctuality and productivity.
• Conduct toolbox talks and allocate tasks clearly.
• Plan ahead to avoid bottlenecks and ensure equipment/material readiness.
• Maintain strict safety and PPE compliance.
• Complete basic admin (job cards checklists reporting).

Requirements

• 3 years supervisory experience in a yard/industrial/production environment.
• Technical background with handson experience using guillotines bandsaws or similar machinery.
• Strong leadership and ability to handle difficult staff confidently.
• Good planning organisation and communication skills.
• Basic computer literacy.
