Role: Writer / Editor (Higher Education) -

Priority Location: South Africa

Working Hours: 40 hours per week (Mon - Fri) flexible with overlap to U.S. Eastern Time (EST) for meetings and collaboration

Salary Range: $1700 - $2700 USD ($) per month (The final offer is at the clients discretion and depends on the candidates interview result skills and experience.)

About the Role:

The Writer/Editor will play a critical role in supporting the companys thought leadership efforts by producing high-quality written content that reflects the founders voice and expertise.

The ideal candidate is an exceptional storyteller and editor who can translate complex educational and consulting concepts into engaging professional content.

Key Responsibilities:

• Draft articles blogs whitepapers case studies and thought leadership content
• Edit and refine content while maintaining the founders unique voice
• Conduct research on higher education trends and industry developments
• Support development of executive thought leadership initiatives
• Collaborate with the Content Strategist on campaign execution
• Ensure all content meets quality brand and editorial standards
• Repurpose long-form content into shorter digital formats
• Assist with proposal content client-facing materials and presentations when required
• Collaborate directly with the CEO on fiction writing and editing projects

Required Qualification & Skills:

• 3 years of professional writing and editing experience
• Exceptional written English skills
• Strong attention to detail and editorial accuracy
• Ability to adapt writing style to match executive voices
• Experience producing B2B or professional services content
• Strong research and interviewing skills
• Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously
