Warehouse Supervisor

We are looking for an experienced Warehouse Supervisor to supervise and coordinate warehouse operations ensuring that stock is received stored handled picked loaded and dispatched safely accurately and efficiently.

The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining inventory accuracy supporting customer service ensuring effective use of resources maintaining SHEQ compliance and leading the warehouse team to achieve required operational standards.

Required Qualifications / Experience:

• Minimum Grade 12 / NQF Level 4.
• Relevant qualifications in Warehousing Logistics Supply Chain or Operations Management would be advantageous.
• Minimum 3 years experience in stock warehouse or distribution operations.
• Previous experience supervising warehouse employees.
• Experience coordinating inventory loading offloading and dispatch activities.
• Working knowledge of SAP / ERP or warehouse systems.
• Good knowledge of stock and inventory control processes.
• Knowledge of SHEQ and material-handling requirements.
• Computer literate with working knowledge of MS Excel and Outlook.
• Valid forklift and overhead crane licenses are advantageous.
• Good planning organising and communication skills.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage and develop employees.
• Customer-focused with good problem-solving and conflict-handling skills.
• Prepared to work overtime weekends and outside normal working hours when operationally required.
