Employment Type: Six-month contract Full-time

Our client an established company in the mining industry is looking for a Warehouse Controllerto join their team in Kempton Park on a six-month contract.
The Warehouse Controller will be responsible for managing materials and supplies within the warehouse environment. This includes receiving storing auditing and dispatching goods in line with established warehouse procedures.
The role also involves supporting accurate reporting coordinating shipping and receiving schedules assisting with warehouse space utilisation and ensuring that facilities and equipment are maintained and protected.
Key Responsibilities
Account for materials and supplies within the warehouse and stores facilities
Audit goods received into the warehouse
Oversee the receipt storage and shipment of materials
Prepare and coordinate shipping and receiving schedules
Support the effective flow of goods and warehouse space utilisation
Maintain accurate warehouse records and related reporting
Follow established warehouse operating procedures
Ensure the proper maintenance and protection of warehouse facilities and equipment
Serve internal and external customers professionally and efficiently
Adhere to company policies procedures and safety requirements
Requirements
Grade 12 or equivalent qualification
Experience in warehousing and inventory control within a mining environment
Valid drivers licence would be advantageous
Forklift licence would be advantageous
Good communication skills
Strong accuracy and attention to detail
Positive attitude and customer-focused approach
Ability to follow company policies and procedures
Must be physically and medically fit to work in a mining environment
