Unit Manager CICU

Our client is looking for an experienced Unit Manager to lead a specialised Cardiac Intensive Care Unit. The successful candidate will provide strong clinical and operational leadership while ensuring safe high-quality care for critically ill cardiac patients.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the day-to-day operations of the CICU.
• Provide clinical leadership and support to the nursing team.
• Monitor patient outcomes and quality indicators.
• Coordinate staffing scheduling and resources.
• Drive patient safety and quality improvement initiatives.
• Ensure compliance with clinical governance standards.
• Mentor and develop nursing staff.
• Collaborate with the multidisciplinary cardiac care team.

Requirements

• Registered Nurse with current SANC registration.
• Critical Care qualification essential.
• Cardiac ICU/CICU experience advantageous.
• Previous Unit Management or leadership experience.
• Strong clinical governance knowledge.
• Excellent leadership communication and organisational skills.
