Job Summary
Were seeking a talented Underground Mine Overseer to join our clients team in Mpumalanga!
Requirements:
- Grade 12
- National Diploma BTech or Degree in Mining Engineering will be advantageous
- Mine Overseers Certificate of Competency
- Fiery Mine Blasting Certificate
- Gas Testing Certificate
- Minimum 5 years underground coal mining experience in a mechanised mining environment
- Minimum 2 years experience as a Mine Overseer appointed in terms of Regulation 2.14.1 of MHSA.
- Experience in Continuous Miner sections stonework geological disturbances (dykes and faults) low-seam mining and conventional drill-and-blast operations
- Experience in managing contractor performance and compliance.
