UiPath RPA Developer

Location: Cape Town Western Cape

Salary: R30000 R45000 per month

We are looking for an experienced UiPath RPA Developer to join a growing technology team based in Cape Town.

The successful candidate will be responsible for designing developing testing deploying and supporting Robotic Process Automation solutions using UiPath. This role will involve working closely with internal stakeholders and customers to identify automation opportunities understand business processes and deliver reliable scalable automation solutions.

Due to the nature of the position candidates must already be based in Cape Town. Relocation applications will not be considered.

The role will also involve occasional travel to customer sites within the Cape Town area therefore a valid drivers licence and own reliable transport are essential.

• Design develop and implement RPA solutions using UiPath
• Analyse existing business processes and identify suitable automation opportunities
• Translate business requirements into efficient automated workflows
• Develop configure and maintain UiPath workflows and automation processes
• Test and debug automation solutions prior to deployment
• Deploy and monitor automated processes in production environments
• Troubleshoot and resolve automation-related issues
• Maintain and enhance existing RPA solutions
• Produce appropriate technical documentation for developed solutions
• Work closely with business users customers and technical teams throughout the automation lifecycle
• Ensure automation solutions are scalable stable and aligned with development best practices
• Provide ongoing support for deployed RPA processes
• Attend customer sites within the Cape Town area when required

• Minimum 45 years relevant RPA / automation development experience preferred
• Strong practical experience developing solutions using UiPath extended to Blue Prism Automation Anywhere or Bot Developer
• Demonstrated experience across the full RPA development lifecycle
• Experience with process analysis workflow design development testing and deployment
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving ability
• Good understanding of software development principles and structured development methodologies
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple automation projects
• Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills
• Currently residing in Cape Town
• Valid drivers licence
• Own reliable transport

One or more of the following UiPath certifications would be highly advantageous:

• UiPath Certified Professional Automation Developer Associate
• UiPath Advanced Developer / Automation Developer Professional
• Other recognised UiPath development certifications

Experience with any of the following would be beneficial:

• UiPath Orchestrator
• REFramework
• API integrations
• SQL and database interaction
• Web and desktop application automation
• Excel automation
• OCR / document processing
• Exception handling and logging
• Version control
• Enterprise automation environments
• Customer-facing technical implementation projects

The ideal candidate is an experienced UiPath developer who is technically strong solutions-focused and comfortable engaging directly with customers. You should be able to take ownership of an automation requirement from initial process analysis through development testing deployment and ongoing support.

You will need to be practical detail-oriented and capable of developing robust automation solutions within a professional customer-facing environment.
