Duties & Responsibilities
  • Complete a structured 12-to-18-month programme combining classroom theory on the job training and time behind the wheel.
  • Attend compulsory face-to-face classroom training in order to be found competent.
  • Log a minimum of 100 practical driving hours in the workplace before your final assessment.
  • Operate safely and efficiently applying the legislated standards for road safety and energy efficiency.
  • Complete a final assessment for competence and the compulsory External Integrated Summative Assessment (EISA)

Minimum Requirements
  • Must be a South African citizen.
  • Valid Code EC drivers licence with a Professional Driving Permit (PrDP) categories D G and P.
  • Certified copy of Matric certificate.
  • Medically fit and willing to work shifts weekends and public holidays.
  • A degree or diploma in logistics supply chain management transport economics or a related field will be advantageous.
