Tronox Professional-In-Training: 2026

As part of development we hereby invite candidates who are already in possession of a Degree or Advance Diploma to apply for Professional in Training opportunities within the below specified fields.

THE FOLLOWING DISCIPLINES WILL BE CONSIDERED:
B Eng/BSc Degree/ B Tech or Advanced diploma in:

• Mining Engineering
• Mine Survey
• Process Control Engineering/Process Instrumentation
• Information Technology/ Computer science
• Community Development

WHAT PROFESSIONAL IN TRAINING OFFERS:

Offers 24 Months of workplace exposureallowing you to apply theoretical knowledge in a real-world setting helping with development of both technical and soft skills such as communication and teamwork

WHAT YOU NEED TO QUALIFY:

• Must have successfully completed a Degree /B-Tech or Advance Diploma qualification.
• Must be a South African citizen with a valid South African ID.
• Must be between the ages of 18 and 35 years.
• Must have no criminal record.
• Must not have previously participated in a Professional-in-Training Graduate Development Internship or similar workplace training programme.
• Must be currently unemployed and available to commence the programme if selected.
• A valid drivers license.

NOTE:

• Applicants can only apply for one discipline.
• Applicants should comply with the minimum entry requirements.
• These opportunities are only available to South African citizens.
• Nominated applicants will need to go through a selection process (including psychometric assessments background screening and medical examinations).
• Successful candidates should be willing to be placed at any of Tronox Business Sites.
• Applicants from the local communities surrounding the Tronox Mineral Sands sites (Saldanha and Matzikama Municipalities) will be given preference.

• Attach in one file (PDF or Word) a CV copy of your senior certificate certified copy of full academic record certified copy of your qualification or completion confirmation letter from the institution proof of residence and a certified copy of your SA ID.
• Application is to be completed by no later than 16:00 on the 14th of July 2026. No other method of application will be considered. Applications received without the supporting documents will not be considered.
