Duties & Responsibilities
Job Position: Toolroom Manager
Ref: 5270
Location: PE / Gqeberha
Salary: R200 to R220 per hour overtime
Qualifications / Requirements:
- Qualified Toolmaker
- Must have blanking experience
- CNC experience
- Supervisory experience
Key Performance Areas and experience with:
- Build repair and modify high-precision tools jigs and fixtures
- Combine traditional manual toolroom skills with computer-controlled machining using CAD/CAM software to program and operate CNC mills lathes and milling machines to tight industrial tolerances
- CNC operation and programming:
- Setting up running and adjusting CNC machinery alongside manual workshop equipment such as surface grinders and conventional lathes
- Tooling and Die Maintenance:
- Troubleshooting repairing and optimizing progressive dies blanking tools and production fixtures to strict tolerances
