Duties & Responsibilities
Your Mission
As a Tool Jig & Die Maker specializing in Metal Pressings youll play a critical role in designing manufacturing modifying and maintaining the tooling that drives production success. Youll be responsible for producing high-precision press tools dies punches fixtures and jigs while ensuring reliability accuracy and efficiency across manufacturing operations. What Youll Be Doing
- Design and manufacture press tools dies punches and fixtures using CAD software such as Mastercam and/or SolidWorks.
- Interpret engineering drawings and technical specifications to produce precision tooling.
- Operate and maintain CNC machinery wire EDM spark erosion equipment lathes and milling machines.
- Modify repair and maintain tooling to maximize performance and minimize downtime.
- Construct and repair precision dies for press tool applications.
- Design and manufacture accurate jigs and fixtures that support production excellence.
- Collaborate closely with engineering and production teams to improve manufacturing outcomes.
What Makes You Stand Out
- Trade Certificate in Toolmaking.
- Proven experience in press toolmaking and maintenance.
- Strong proficiency in Mastercam and/or SolidWorks.
- Extensive experience with CNC machining wire EDM spark erosion and conventional machining techniques.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to read and interpret complex engineering drawings.
