Duties & Responsibilities

Qualified Tool Jig & Die Makers
Trade Tested / Red Seal Artisans
Toolmakers
Jig & Fixture Makers
Die Makers
Mould Makers with relevant toolmaking experience
CNC Toolmakers
Skilled artisans with experience in precision engineering and toolmaking
Junior to Senior-level Toolmakers

TECHNICAL EXPERIENCE:

Experience in one or more of the following areas is advantageous:
Tool jig and die manufacturing
Press tools and dies
Jigs fixtures and gauges
Moulds and tooling
CNC milling and turning
Conventional machining
Grinding and precision machining
Tool maintenance and repairs
Tool modifications and improvements
Reading and interpreting engineering drawings
CAD/CAM exposure
Precision measuring equipment
CNC programming
Tool assembly fitting and commissioning
Fault-finding and troubleshooting

WHAT WE LOOK FOR:

Relevant Toolmaking / Tool Jig & Die qualification
Trade Tested / Red Seal Toolmaker
Relevant manufacturing or engineering experience
Strong precision machining skills
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
Experience with measuring and inspection equipment
Strong understanding of tooling and manufacturing processes
Good mechanical and technical problem-solving ability
Attention to detail and commitment to quality
Safety-conscious approach to work
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
