Test Automation Contractor in Gauteng

Role Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Test Automation Specialist to design develop and maintain automated testing solutions across enterprise applications and platforms. The successful candidate will play a key role in improving software quality accelerating delivery cycles and ensuring stable production releases through robust automation frameworks and testing practices. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in functional regression API and performance test automation with exposure to Agile delivery environments and CI/CD pipelines.

Minimum Requirements

Qualifications

Bachelors Degree / National Diploma in:
- Computer Science
- Information Technology
- Software Engineering
- Related IT discipline

Experience

Minimum 47 years of software testing experience.
Minimum 3 years of hands-on test automation experience.
Experience working within Agile/Scrum environments.
Experience with enterprise applications web applications APIs and mobile testing.
Exposure to DevOps and CI/CD implementation.

Technical Skills Required

Automation Tools & Frameworks

Experience with one or more of the following:

Selenium WebDriver
Cypress
Playwright
Appium
UFT/QTP
Robot Framework
Rest Assured
Postman
JMeter
SoapUI
