Job Summary
A supplier of laboratory service is seeking a Technical Sales Representative to join their team in Cape Town.
The Technical Sales Representative will be responsible for achieving maximum sales profitability growth and account penetration within an assigned territory and/or market segment by effectively selling the companys services to new business accounts and by growing existing business through value added selling of the companys total package of services.
Key Requirements: A broad knowledge of food safety programs and systems including environmental monitoring finished product sampling HACCP food microbiology food chemistry and research capabilities is required. A thorough knowledge of food science typically obtained from a ND or Bachelors degree or from equal experience within the food testing industry is required. Furthermore broad knowledge of technical sales techniques and client service experience is required to increase new business and improve existing business.
