Technical Sales Executive and Account Manager

CJ Staffing is currently recruiting for an exciting opportunity with a global leader specialising in innovative ingredient solutions for the bakery and milling industry.

Salary: R45 000 R50 000 CTC Commission Fuel Medical Aid Pension
Travel: South Africa & Southern African regions (Namibia Botswana Zambia etc.)

We are looking for a driven technically minded Sales/Account Manager with strong communication skills and a passion for business development.

Ideal Background:

• Matric
• Relevant tertiary education in Consumer Science Food Technology Food Science Baking Milling or related fields would be highly advantageous.
• Experience within the baking milling ingredients or food manufacturing industry
• Previous exposure to technical ingredients flour improvers premixes or related products
• Sales Key Account Management or Business Development experience
• Formulation/recipe development experience advantageous
• Strong relationship-building and communication skills
• Go-getter attitude with a hunger for sales and growth
• Must be Durban-based or willing to relocate

Key Responsibilities:

• Managing and growing existing accounts
• New business development and lead generation
• Presenting technical solutions/products to clients
• Working closely with customers and the Managing Director
• Developing strategies to grow market share and margins
• Regular travel to clients across SA and neighbouring countries
