Are you an experienced technical project manager who can lead complex digital-modernisation and Azure migration programmes from discovery through to production
Duties & Responsibilities
We are currently building our IT talent database and are looking to connect with experienced Technical Project Managers for current and future opportunities. We are particularly interested in professionals with strong experience managing software development cloud migration application modernisation and multidisciplinary technology programmes. Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and manage technology programmes across discovery architecture migration development testing deployment stabilisation and transition to operations.
- Develop project plans work breakdown structures schedules milestones and resource plans.
- Manage RAID logs dependencies scope change control risks and project governance.
- Coordinate multidisciplinary teams across software cloud database infrastructure UX content and analytics workstreams.
- Lead UAT release cutover and transition-to-operations planning while maintaining technical documentation and acceptance criteria.
Job Experience & Skills Required / Ideal Candidate Profile:
Education
- Professional project-management certification such as PMP PRINCE2 or a recognised equivalent is required.
- A relevant degree diploma or equivalent qualification in Information Technology Computer Science Project Management or a related field will be advantageous.
- Microsoft or Azure fundamentals and project-delivery certifications will be advantageous.
- Additional information security qualifications will be advantageous
Experience
- 5 years of technical project-management experience.
- Demonstrable experience managing IT systems software-development migration cloud or digital-modernisation projects.
- Experience coordinating technical dependencies across development databases infrastructure and cloud environments.
- Experience with Agile Scrum or hybrid delivery methodologies and technical project governance.
Skills
- Project planning milestone management RAID dependency and change management.
- Stakeholder management technical workshops reporting and governance.
- UAT release cutover and transition-to-operations planning.
- Azure DevOps GitHub Jira Microsoft Project Teams or similar project-delivery tools.
