Job Summary
One of our Leading Shipping clients are looking for a highly experienced and skilled Technical Estimator to manage their team in Durban.
Minimum Requirements:
- National Senior Certificate.
- A tertiary qualification in Supply Chain Logistics or Technical/Mechanical Engineering would be an advantage but is not required.
- 35 years Proven experiencein an estimating procurement or technical sales role within theMarine industry.
- Specific knowledgeof Marine Technical Store items (e.g. engine spares deck equipment safety gear paint and consumables).
- Established networkor working knowledge of external marine suppliers and sub-contractors.
- Experiencewith pricing strategies RFQ (Request for Quotation) processes and cost analysis.
